We are members of Anglican Communities https://www.churchofengland.org/religious-life#na
The purpose of this blog is to provide people with a space to share their vocational story with others. Joining a New Monastic, Third Order or a Dispersed Community is not something exotic but is a very normal way of living out one’s Christian faith. It is a God-given call to grow in prayer and service; specifically in the context of ‘ordinary life’. This is a vocation to grow in holiness for people who are often in employment and have various family commitments. The people sharing their vocational stories on this blog are people who live ordinary lives, and seek to find God in the midst of this.
Hopefully this will all be made clearer as you read people’s vocational stories. The focus of this blog is to share vocational stories relating to Anglican New Monastic, Third Order and Dispersed Communities
Why do this?
- Because it gives new insight into Anglican New Monastic, Third Order and Dispersed Communities. A lot of unnecessary mystery surrounds the whole notion of vocation and discernment, hopefully the vocation stories will be helpful in your discernment journey.
- Because it will help introduce New Monastic, Third Order and Dispersed Anglican Communities to more people.
